Presentation Description:Air filters play a critical role in maintaining air quality and HVAC system efficiency. Their performance is measured using MERV and MERV -A ratings. Determining their life cycle costs and understanding if they maintain their particulate efficiency over time is essential for managing building operations. Additionally, the use of VFDs can help optimize the energy consumption associated with air filters by dynamically adjusting airflow based on the system's needs. Choosing the right filter for the system’s purpose can lead to lower total life cycle costs and better energy efficiency.
